Exchange Server 2007 and Outlook Web Access 2007

Chattanooga State is in the process of implementing the New Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Exchange Server 2007 is Microsoft's latest and greatest messaging and collaborative software product.

Exchange's major features consist of electronic mail, calendaring, contacts and tasks, and support for the mobile and web-based access to information, as well as supporting data storage.

The cool thing about Exchange 2007 is that it works with the familiar Outlook 2007 client on your desktop, and Outlook Web Access (web mail) on any Internet connected PC. Since Outlook Web Access (OWA) is again a Microsoft product, the user interface is very similar to Outlook 2007. No more Surge Mail ... yeah!!

Plus you get the benefits of Sharing Calendars, viewing your Outlook Calendar in Outlook Web Access (on the web), sharing calendars and contacts with PDA's, cell phones etc., contacts, tasks, scheduling assistant and so on.

Thanks to stellar leadership provided by Greg Jackson (AVP), and Jackie Stephenson (Dir.), and the tireless efforts of Bruce Carlisle, and Donna Appleget, this project would not have been possible.
