New Microsoft Visio Professional 2007

Microsoft Visio is the Diagramming Software Tool that helps you create diagrams like Flow Charts, Network Diagrams, Org. Charts, Business Processes etc. Microsoft Visio Professional 2007 is the new and improved version of Visio.

It is currently available in Standard and Professional Versions, the Professional version having more advanced templates included in that version. At Chattanooga State we have the Professional Version of Visio 2007.

There are a variety of Templates available in Visio, with some exciting new templates with the shapes, that you simply drag and drop on your diagramming canvas. Some new features are:

AutoConnect - Which let's Visio automatically connect, distribute and allign shapes in diagrams.

Insert Text Box - Easily add text fields to diagrams by choosing this new menu command.

Sample diagrams with integrated data - Open sample diagrams that have data integrated with them to get ideas for creating and designing your own diagrams

Theme feature - Design professional-looking Office Visio diagrams by choosing a color or an effect for an entire page or diagram, or multiple diagrams—all with only one click.

Remove hidden information - Remove information hidden in Office Visio files or information you don’t want others to see, such as comments, thumbnail previews, personal information in document properties, and unused data and shapes from diagrams, while also reducing the size of the drawing file.
